The second annual Ride Across South Carolina (RASC) was successful as it was windy. Club members Nick Felix, Alfred Olivetti, Alan Reece, Todd Rieger, and Charlie Knapper, as well as Upstate friend Cameron Dorn, began the 270 mile trek to Greenville Thursday, January 8. They arrived in Aiken on Thursday night just after dark and battling 25 mph head winds for virtually the entire 9 hours of ride time. The group, minus Knapper, completed the second leg of the trip in 6 hrs and 12 minutes. The Aiken to Greenville stretch included a lunch stop at the Dixie Diner in Greenwood, SC.
