Join us tomorrow October 10th for the Island Rec Center’s Kids Triathlon.
Race begins 8:30am
Pre registration fee: $15 or $25 for two children
Day of Fee: $20 or $35 for two children
• Ages 8 & Under: swim 50 yards, bike 3.2 miles, run .8 mile
• Ages 9-10: swim 100 yards, bike 3.2 miles, run .8 mile
• Ages 11-12: swim 150 yards, bike 6.4 miles, run .8 mile
• Ages 13-14: swim 200 yards, bike 8 miles, run 1.6 miles
This is a great event for many young athletes! Join us tomorrow by volunteering to help body mark and assist in the transition area. Please arrive by 7:45. We need everyone’s support to help show these kids and their parents what we love about the sport!!!

Hi everyone! September is almost here. Due to the Labor Day holiday, we’ve decided to move the Sept. meeting to Wed. the 9th at Hampton Hall. Mark your calenders - more info soon on speaker, workout and social for the evening.
Like so many others, Alison Yurco was at first a bit intimidated at doing a triathlon.
But then someone broke it down for her. All a triathlete does is run, swim and bike. Granted, the events are many miles of running, swimming and cycling, but when she thought of it as just the activities it comprises, the triathlon seemed doable.
“Only one thing has changed between now and then — my attitude,” she said. “I realized I could do it.”

A classic cycling experience in the Southeast’s most historic city! The Saturday Morning ride is a 31 mile loop and has a remote start/finish location in Black Creek Georgia, 28 miles from Savannah. *Saturday evening there is an optional benefit nighttime fun-ride available - details below.* The Sunday Morning ride starts at The Distillery restaurant. Directions:Head towards Marriott Hotel, prior to entering hotel take a left and head towards guard gate by tennis courts. Let guard know that you are with Tri Club and take first right over the bridge.
